Due the controlled growth hydroponic chambers the greenhouse is capable of producing crops such as tomatoes, bell peppers, cucumbers, cauliflower, peas, broccoli, eggplants, zucchini, most varieties of lettuce, green onions, celery, spinach, strawberries, blackberries and a variety of herbs such as thyme, oregano, parsley, dill, etc. During the evaluation and design process Yamotech determines the most suitable type of growth technology and system. Coordination with growth cycles, energy consumption, and maintaining the required microclimate inside the greenhouse in extreme cold environments creates a multitude of parameters and technical requirements during the project development. The greenhouse capacity is tailored to match community’s populace be age and gender segment with great emphasizes on the younger population segment.

Yamotech’s solutions for year-round vegetable production employs extensive and sustained training cycles to enable the local people to become skilled and knowledgeable growers. The greenhouses are connected to advanced computer monitoring and remote controlled systems capable to detect and take automated precautionary measures in the event that the greenhouse components and systems malfunction and break down.

Yamotech employs the biomass cogeneration power plants producing combined heat and power for its advanced growth chambers. The greenhouse are also connected to a local emergency diesel power generator and to the local electric grid. By using triple redundant power systems the risk of power blackout is completely eliminated.
